Community & Standards Policy

• Never contact a student off-platform without a parent's or guardian's knowledge and consent.
• No grooming, sexual content, or inappropriate conduct toward any student — ever.
• Keep interactions focused on learning and appropriate for the student's age.
• Report any concern about a child's safety to us immediately.

• Treat everyone with respect, regardless of gender, religion, ethnicity, disability, or background.
• No harassment, bullying, intimidation, hate speech, or discrimination.
• No threats, doxxing, or sharing others' private information.

• Represent your identity, qualifications, and experience truthfully.
• Only submit genuine documents for verification.
• Do not impersonate another person or institution.

• Do your own work and use study tools to learn, not to cheat.
• Do not misuse the AI tutor or materials to commit examination malpractice.
• Follow the rules teachers set for their classes and assessments.

• No illegal, violent, sexual, or otherwise harmful content.
• No spam, scams, phishing, or fraudulent payment activity.
• No malware, hacking, scraping, or attempts to disrupt the Platform.
• No sharing of pirated or copyright-infringing materials.
• No using the Platform to advertise or sell unrelated products or services.

• Use audio, video, chat, and whiteboard tools appropriately and only for the lesson.
• Do not record or redistribute sessions without permission.
• Do not disrupt sessions or interfere with others' learning.

If you see conduct that breaches this Policy, report it to operations@edgetech.co.ke. We review reports and may take action including warnings, content removal, suspension, loss of verified status, account termination, and reporting to relevant authorities where required. We prioritise the safety of minors in all enforcement decisions.

We may update this Policy as the community grows. Material changes will update the version and effective date and, where appropriate, require renewed acceptance.
